This book has many philosophical and psychological ideas and teachings. It has a dialogue between a youth and a philosopher. The philosopher (named Ichiro Kishima) believes in the thesis: "The world is simple and life is simple, too." There are various examples given that can make one think and realise. The points are: started with the change, goals, remove the dark glasses, courage, Adlerian psychology, Greek philosophy, determinism, various emotions like anger-happiness (to be happy), power struggle, about the past, knowledge, replacement & renewal, lifestyle is a tendency of thoughts, encouragement, admitting is the good attitude, pros & cons of interpersonal relationships (also about horizontal & vertical relationship), inferiority & superiority complex, competition, self-reliant & to live in harmony, separation tasks, reward, community feeling, being self.
